July 24, 2013 - This wine was gifted to me and I didn't take any formal notes. I am only writing this note to say that I did not get anything like what DBP tasted on the finish. I quite liked this wine. It isn't the most complex vio, but it was a nice, easy, summer drinker.

May 25, 2013 - Willamette Valley for Memorial day weekend and a peak at 2012; 5/25/2013-5/26/2013: This had 24 hours of skin contact and finished with .8% RS. The aromas are fairly sweetly fruited. Like a yellow gummy bear. Similar flavor on the palate coupled with a nice creamy texture. Nice viscosity. Just when I thought this was going to be quite fine, the second you swallow a really rancid funk takes over. There's no hint this is coming on the nose or palate, but it really tastes a bit like I vomited a minute or so ago. Really kills an otherwise pleasing wine.
