October 23, 2015 - Both Gamay Noir and Cab Franc are in beautiful harmony in this creation. This blend would pair well with a variety of cuisine. Just plain pretty wine.

August 29, 2014 - Smells like cranberries and blackberries on a hot driveway after a rain. Tastes of tart, barely ripe blackberries plucked from a bush early, fruit notes are joined by a light tea note along with the accompanying light tannins. Short finish, high acid, super quaffable and simple drink that is ready to go now. No reason to wait.

August 19, 2013 - Clear medium purple to ruby in the glass.
Startlingly fresh aromatics, carbonic? Boysenberries, rain, and violets.
Palate- More acidic than juicy at cellar temp, lean attack of unsweetened / almost under ripe boysenberries, crushed flowers, and gravel with a light tannic finish.
Not an overly complex wine, yet one I enjoyed thoroughly for its simplicity and tart, fresh flavors.1 person found this helpful Comment -

May 25, 2013 - Willamette Valley for Memorial day weekend and a peak at 2012; 5/25/2013-5/26/2013: This was pulled from barrel and was in the middle of malolactic fermentation. Said to be a "Red Table Blend," this is 66% Cabernet Franc and 34% Gamay, inspired by similar blends in the Loire. The aromas are a little funky, but I like it, as it smells like grilled fish skins. The palate is mild, with soft fruit, but not much depth or interest. Some sour grittiness on the finish, but again, a pretty straight forward effort. Nothing bad about this, but nothing interesting. Call it 83-85 points based on this sample.
