November 28, 2022 - Drank on Thanksgiving, did not decant. Felt a little disjointed and volatile, definitely towards the end of its life.

January 8, 2022 - Perfect time to drink this wine. Opened for about an hour and paired with grouper in a Cajun butter sauce. Hint of blackberries with a long finish. Fantastic!

December 5, 2021 - Deep dark ruby in color. Soaring aromas of black cherries, dried florals, perfumed spice + wood, hint of forest floor. Broad shouldered palate shows spicy and sweet dark berries, medium acidity, silky tannins and a very long perfumed wood spice finish. This has got a very long life ahead.

    January 2, 2021 - Wow - a tale of two wines.

The first 90 minutes the wine was very disjointed - minerality, tannins and a bit of low-keyed fruit. Then, after 90 minutes, it all came together and the fruit blossomed. The first 90 minutes I almost poured it out. Glad I didn't.

Give this one plenty of air time. It will last beyond 2022.

August 23, 2020 - Floral nose with dark red berry dominant taste. Good first day. Fantastic a day later.
