May 31, 2020 - Drank better than expected, based on my last note from 2018. Holding strong.
Bramble, spice, dried purple fruit. Tannins are integrated but the wine isnt falling apart at all.
Medium-lomg finish.
Went well with beef tenderloin. -

September 16, 2019 - bonus bottle... thought I'd drunk all of these, found one hiding last week, put it down with a bison ribeye; still in a great spot, Med+ body, still some chewy tannins, nice fruit, a bit of acidity, nice bouquet... what an enjoyable surprise! If I had more, I wouldn't be concerned over a 2-3 year horizon.

October 24, 2018 - It was our first bottle in 1-1/2 years. There was a certain astringency when drinking by itself, but a nice fruit-laced accompaniment with grilled T-Bones and veggies on the side. Others may be right that this wine needs to be consume sooner, rather than later.
