March 27, 2016 - Fresh chopped cherry on the nose. Light flavor of cherry and biscuit. Watery. Pleasant light tannic finish.

May 9, 2015 - Classical Russian river pinot, deep color most likely some Syrah blended in. Good balance of fruit, acidity and some tanins. Not too much residual sweetness

January 1, 2015 - Dark berry dominates from the nose to the finish; but it's quite pleasurable and offers more than one note. Its complexity comes from a step up in body from first-touch to the finish. It starts light and finishes with a medium mouth-feel. Ultimately it was not an ideal pairing with steak frites and bernaise, but still delivered dutifully and is an undoubted crowd-pleaser.
