    April 21, 2016 - Translucent, age showing.
Dark plums with a hint of oak on the nose.
Fruity attack, stewed fruit, plenty of well managed tannins, well rounded, good length.

August 21, 2015 - This has a nuanced, exciting nose of eucalyptus, stewed plums and coffee. The palate is rich with luscious, perfectly resolved fruits and and toasted spices. It really is quite lovely until the finish which unfortunately stops rather short, leaving a slightly cheap oakiness on the tongue. Still an excellent and remarkably complex wine for £8.

June 21, 2015 - Just translucent, deep colour (blackcurrant).
    Pleasantly oaky nose.
Fruity, spicy, a bit of sweetness, great length.

    March 4, 2015 - Just opaque.
A nosegay of fruit and flowers with a hint of oak.
Fruity attack, fairly well balanced though the alcohol adds a sweet effect, drinking well.
