  August 13, 2020 - Italian wine theme exchange session. Tasted blind. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
  Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs.
  Nose is clean, medium intensity, with aromas of leathery meat, dark red cherries, dark plums, light tar. Developed.
  On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium+ alcohol (14%), grippy yet silky high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of tar, dark red cherries, dark red plum, leathery meat, black tea leaves, slight mushroom earth. Long finish.
  Very good quality! I was guessing this as a Barolo. Drinking so good now.
  Made from the same 4 vineyards as the Barolo, but with declassified fruit.

  November 27, 2019 - Loved this and thought it was on point. Just wonderful, pure fruit, with great acidity, and structure, and a wonderful silky mouthfeel. Wow!! My last one of this vintage.

  July 15, 2019 - Bartolo Mascarello Langhe Nebbiolo 2012.
  Mmmm... dette er godt!
  Begynnende modning hvor den flotte Nebbiolo frukten tar på seg en søtlig duft.
  Lær, og krydder blander seg inn med rosene og de sødmefulle kirsebærene.
  Elegant og vakkert.
  Saftig og slank på smak med et nydelig bitt.
  Sunn frukt og balansert friskhet.
  Flott lengde med skikkelig Nebbe-tanniner - dog av den fine sorten.
  Skikkelig fast i finish.
  Topp Langhe Nebbiolo som drikker bra nå og noen år fremover. 91p

  August 30, 2018 - Bue au chalet, couleur et net terriblement typiques du cépage lorsqu’il est travaillé “normalement” (reflets mauves, violet clair, nez “latex”, menthe, eucalyptus), pureté exceptionnelle, tanins présents gages d’un bon potentiel, bouche ample, fruitée, un nebbiolo “de base” remarquable

  September 30, 2017 - Mascarello Langhe Nebbiolo 2012, Barolo v.s Giuseppe. Darker red fresh fruit, raspberries, high acidity, dry sticky tannins, medium body, develops nicely in the glass.
