November 10, 2014 - Sweet new world nose. Cab. Sauv. dominating and some alcohol sharpness. Easy going palate with good tannins. Won't improve.

July 27, 2014 - Bought two cases (12 each) of half-bottles from a local independent 8-9 years ago for 9/b. This has held up very well. Have tried two hbs over the last several days. Needs filtering/decant due to sediment. Excellent color, rich WA cab nose, blackcurrant and some oak with very good mouthfeel, good finish. Fruit is more subdued than 5-6 years ago. Glad I bought all I did, good to have a few left. Hbs can be so convenient.

March 30, 2014 - Wish I had read comments from previous tasters as I would have held it another year or two. Dad guessed it was half as old as it was. Nice wine. A bit of alcohol on the finish.

March 20, 2014 - judgement of sweden - wines from oregon and washington state (Operaterassen, Stockholm): This is still quite tannic and big (but dry not sweet), but otherwise mature and highly drinkable wine, perhaps one could even wait a few more years to see if the tannins mellow, there is still fruit and freshness here.

July 5, 2010 - Did not stand up well against other wines at the party
