February 4, 2023 - Drink up, probably missed the apex a few years ago. Still pleasurable, loads of petrol, lanolin and limes.

Day 2, still holding up. With a simple raddichio salad, this is amazing, the contrast to the bitterness...

June 28, 2022 - Still drinking well. Pepperiness that I recall has evolved into a more subtle waxy spicy aroma. Oddly, roasted potato skins come to mind. But also still some orange blossom. Fairly light weight but with a creamy texture that transitions into a gentle ripe melon and tropical fruit finish.

August 24, 2021 - Spicy, peppery nose. Also a huge whiff of interesting smokiness in front of green tea. Mouth is fairly light, even for a Federspiel. Nice balance on the finish with some bitter orange rind lift.

August 5, 2019 - Bottle was better than expected on this new try of one of our favorite Austrian wine makers. Waited patiently as prefer to open Rieslings with age at or near peak. Perfect served chilled on a hot day at the beach, no food necessary, although we had the cheeses for it handy. So darn tasty, easy to drink but not simple in my opinion, flavor profiles and minerality are spot on, awesome wine will be now cellaring more of.

May 11, 2019 - Remains pale; wet stone, a smokey edge, understated but classically Riesling; quiet, refreshing, strict; tight finish. Lacks any thrills & doesn’t quite convince. Not sure there’s anymore to come. Drink up.
