Community Tasting Notes 2

February 23, 2014 - Consumed over ~2 hours. Fuller-bodied than I expected, with fruit-focused notes of melon, stone fruit, and slightly bitter citrus pith. Could use a little more acid for my taste, but not too flabby in the end. Somewhat simple, but tasty and hard to beat for $5.

August 31, 2013 - A really interesting blend of Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc, Ugni Blanc and Rousanne. The body and flavor is very much Rousanne, with some acid kick from the other varietals. The viscosity is relatively heavy. The color is quite golden. The flavor is like honey coated melon, peach and apricot. A little short on acid, but still a mouth full of flavor. Has some of that beechwood flavor. Also a touch of bitterness. But overall, quite a value.
