February 12, 2024 - A bit tired, but still very good. Opened next to 2012 Bryant which probably didn’t help the comparison, lol

February 8, 2021 - Have to say, I think the 2011 vintage may be coming around with time. Surprisingly rich and voluptuous. Drop dead gorgeous from beginning to end.

December 20, 2018 - In a beautiful place right now, can’t see how will improve much more. Luscious fruit without being overly extracted. palate coating, good minerality, integrated medium tannin. Hate to admit that this wine is worth the $$

July 5, 2016 - So after waiting several years, this was my first vintage opportunity at this wine from the winery mailing list. An off vintage for Napa Valley, and based on the critics, a real off vi take for this normal out performer. But after years of waiting, you have to do it, just for the future opportunity, right? Well I have to say, my expectations were adequately lowered and I was totally in love with the wine. Yes, I have enough imagination to consider what it could have been. But the smoke, cedar, leather, cassis and red fruit still mesmerized me tonight.
