December 25, 2017 - Vinröd färg, tät kärna

Oerhört mycket plommon, svag acetonton, selleristjälkar, mörk choklad, rom?, körsbär, körsbärskärnor, söt lakrits

Torrt och strävt, runt och fylligt, mycket plommon även i munnen, oerhört härlig längd

November 22, 2015 - Full-bodied, beautiful deep purple; intense pepper, leather, and cherry with a long hard acidic finish. Doesn't seem to have changed a bit over the last year, and hardly changed at all even 2 hours after opening. Surprisingly disappointing for a Snowden cab.

September 22, 2014 - I bit young and has a slight green edge; should wait a bit longer for this to mature, but should be good in a year or two. Not unexpected for 2011.

September 8, 2014 - Ran this through the menu decanter and let it warm up from cellar temp. Still very Linear and one dimensional. Hot finish as well. Very fruit forward but lacking depth and complexity. This may do better after a few years in the cellar but I don't think it will help much.

May 2, 2014 - I don't think this will cruise along in the cellar. I decanted this and it lost so much. Just disjointed and disappointing. It took about an hr after the initial menu decant to come back together and even then it was just an 87-88 pointer. This is lacking that typical blockbuster fruit found in the reserve. It's lacks structure & density as well. Now don't get me wrong it is not an awful cab it is actually decent but from Snowden I expect so much more. I love the reserve. It is truly one of my favorites and I have a boatload in the cellar and I order a case a year minimum but this just didn't do it. We all know 2011 was a bad year and I think they did enough with what they had.
