November 21, 2020 - Rich buttered apples but not heavy on the palate. Great acidity and length. This wine is probably bold enough to pair with a steak.

March 24, 2018 - From a nice looking bottle, this wine had a deep yellow/light gold center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose put forth lemons, vanilla, hazel nuts, and white stone.

In the mouth, this wine was rich and ripe but had firm acidity to back it up. It was well integrated and showed excellent length.

While fully mature, this wine was hitting on all cylinders after 4+ hours of air. Excellent and under appreciated!

PS Tasted the next day. Different but still going strong which suggests amazing staying power.

March 13, 2016 - Tasted blind, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose displayed lemon, orange peel, honey, and some oak. It made me think of Ramonet. After 4+ hours of air, the oak morphed into hazelnut.

In the mouth, this wine had great richness and weight. While the mouthfeel was awesome, I was going to give it a 94 because it just didn't have the acidity and finish of a great wine. Fortunately, I went back to it at the end of the night it was amazing how a crisp, lemony integrated acidity developed to move the wine to the next level.

While this will last, I see no reason to wait.

August 22, 2015 - From an excellent looking bottle with a 1.5 cm fill, this wine had a deep yellow center with clear rims. after 4+ hours of air, the high- intensity nose featured apricots, citrus, apples, and vanilla spice.

In the mouth, this wine was super rich with crisp acidity. Overall it had a powerful and impressive presence with fantastic length.

I really gave this wine a lot air and it appears to have paid off. This is drinking very well and will certainly last 5 years+. Big winner!

July 12, 2015 - From a nice looking bottle with a 2.5 cm fill, this wine had a deep yellow center and clear rims. The medium+ intensity nose offered up apples, citrus, vanilla, and white stone.

This wine was nice from the start but certainly benefited from lots of air. In the mouth it was rich and ripe with attractive acidity and excellent length. This wine had a great, old vines mouth-feel. It kicked into another gear in the 5th hour of air. Impressive!

While this wine will last for 5+ years, it appears at its peak.
