September 24, 2023 - Good Solid Barolo - It was a good producer from a great vintage that had been properly stored. Expected it to be outstanding but it was good but not great. Tannins still hadn’t fully resolved. Some of the expected tertiary notes that should had been there weren’t showing through. Had with beef carpaccio.

July 21, 2023 - Classic. Cherry, orange, cranberry, licorice, espresso. Full-bodied, with a creamy texture. Intense, with beautiful acidity and mature tannins. Fresh, complex and moreish finish. Long. Drink now - 2035.
