Community Tasting Notes 2

January 23, 2016 - Giant Wine Sale & Tasting 1/23/2016 (Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC): This is a pretty decent approximate $10 Chardonnay. The nose has a touch of butterscotch, ginger and fig. The palate tastes like a cool climate, rustic, Chablis style, not necessarily fruit forward, secondary flavors first, apple, pear and citrus. Only a touch of oak, and not full malo lactic. Ginger and other brown spice flavors.

July 2, 2013 - Apple and cantaloupe nose, citrus and creamy on the palate, fairly balanced.

We drank the pinot gris, but this ap says Chardonnay.. It is 70% chardonnay grape.
