Community Tasting Notes 4

April 6, 2015 - Tons of funk and stable floor on the nose. Rubber, smoke, manure, cherry seeds, huckleberries, figs, coffee and wet stone.

Medium+ acidity with some really grippy and coarse tannins. Medium body, medium+ intensity and a really good, medium+ finish. Slightly sweetish fruit.

Lovely stuff, and Dezi keeps impressing! Will do good in the cellar for another 5-7 years easily.

    March 10, 2015 - Deep ruby color.

Developing , complex nose with a medium+ intensity. It shows super ripe cherries, blueberries, licorice, violets, stable, VA, brett, oak and vanilla. Lovely, rustic and intriguing nose!

Dry on the palate with medium+ acid, tannin and body. The flavor intensity is medium+ with cherry compote, cassis, grass, violets, oak and coffee. The finish is medium+ with warm earth, dried herbs and dusty gravel.

You can taste that the fruit gone in to this wine had an enormous amount of ripeness and the wine just has a prestigious feeling to it. I think that this starting to hit a nice spot but should need another 2-3 years to really get there. Very, very good in any kind of way and the guy who brought this payed around €23 at the winery which makes up for some serious QPR.

January 31, 2014 - Redy to drink but This wine has many years left. Smell, stable and flower. Taste pepper and mint with medium smoth tannins. Bought this and other wines from Dezi, i really recommend This producer.

October 14, 2013 - what a wine! Full-bodied, strong but also very fruit-driven, a hidden treasure in La Marche, that's for sure!
