June 19, 2022 - Was in the back of the cellar. Now gentle, smooth! Terrific with steak and chocolate brittle.
    Was worth the wait.

September 3, 2019 - Had during the OPFL draft

January 7, 2018 - Decant for 20 minutes - no sediment to speak of. Time has not been good to this wine as it has been robbed of much of its fruit. It leaves behind the earthiness, acidity, and even a touch of alcohol. Drinkable, but barely. Looking at other TNs (all vintages), this appears to be a wine that needs to be enjoyed before it reaches its fifth birthday.

January 3, 2014 - Dark ruby color; savory, charcoal, pork sausage, black cherry, chocolate, nutmeg nose; tight, tasty, unusual, tart berry, charcoal, chocolate, blackberry palate; needs 2-3 years; medium-plus finish (14.5% alcohol; 15 months in French oak)

October 18, 2013 - Well made and quite expressive even in it's youth, notes of plum, dark cherry, cassis, vanilla and some mocha on the nose, similar palate which while big and robust is quite smooth with a nice bitter chocolate finish
