Community Tasting Notes 23

March 10, 2024 - Shared at a party, no tasting notes in the chaos. Decanted and disappeared quickly, feedback was very positive.

November 26, 2022 - Quite nice dark red color and richer than the 2010 Atticus Pinot Noir Atticus Vineyard, but too much bret. Purchased in Portland in 2013.

June 19, 2021 - An extra bottle that we busted out for friends, not really sure where it came from. Bit of a brett bomb, left half the bottle for the next day. Still bandaidy but the dark fruit and earth core started to come through a bit. Good but paled next to a clean & pristine 2009 Beaune 1er.

December 31, 2020 - Last bottle of our original case! Like the last one, bretty at pop, however this time the bandaid-ish flavors blew off fairly quickly, leaving a red fruit opener in front of an earthy core and a longish finish on acidity. Great lean shape, keeping with the original spirit of the wine and 2010 in Oregon... this was fun taking a case like this through 8 years.

May 24, 2020 - Classic Oregon Pinot. Dark fruit, minerality, savory notes, nice balance. Excellent with cedar plank salmon.
