Community Tasting Notes 12

April 27, 2024 - Sweetness catching up to and surpassing the acidity now. A bit rounder and denser but not cloying. Some nice spice notes accent the fruit. Maybe waited a little long on this for my taste.

September 22, 2018 - I found this to be outstanding. Still on the young side, but was open for business. Dense yet light. I love the racy acidity that is always found in this wine. One of my favourite spatlese's every year.

May 9, 2015 - Pretty fantastic, but not exceptional. Wished for more on nose and some more acid to balance the sweetness.

March 29, 2015 - Good, but not outstanding. did not get much minerality. A little bitter on the end.

February 9, 2015 - Imported by Michael Skurnik Wines. 8% alcohol by volume. Pale, with transparency. Some petrol on the nose; also white flowers and perhaps pear notes but not too scent-specific on the fruit aromas. The wine tastes off-dry but still balanced and inviting. I would rate in the 90's.
