  April 15, 2024 - Pale tawny colour with a yellow/brown edge. Evolved aromatically from the PnP. Initial pot pourr and tar, moving on at the 10 minute mark to dark red cherry with slight glacier effect, cocia and tarmac. Some spice in the mouth. Later some slight bitter tar aftertaste. And later still some thyme aftertaste. Mostly balanced wine with little obvious tannin. Drinking okay but suspect it has peaked or is past its best.

  Acidity still fairly dominant.
  Bright red fruit and light/medium texture.

  April 3, 2024 - Browning with a faded rim but hanging on. Dried cherry, a hint of raisin, thyme, and tar. Still some acid and tannins that glide. End of life, but a great wine.

  February 8, 2023 - Lighter red. Clear, starting to brown at edges. Dried red fruits as noted by others dominate the nose. Soft yet juicy front palate with lovely tannins to finish. A classy Australian take on the variety, starting to get shabby.

  September 3, 2022 - Glad we kept it for a few years. Lighter style. Rose note is still evident, slight tannins, is drinking very well now.
