April 16, 2019 - From jerobaum. Creamy, rich, the vintage speaks, bees wax ere, citrus, minerals, yet it is a broad wine, and while very good, not up there with the best vintages of this cuvee.

October 11, 2015 - For those of us who like our white wines with attitude, this is one. No light and pretty shrinking violet, this is a heavyweight with power and length. Lovely silky texture of bitter-sweet orange. Perhaps it's more back street bare knuckle bruiser than sophisticate, but how pleasing to have such a good Northern Rhone white (and it could not come from anywhere else in the world) from a "lesser" appellation. Another decade in this, at least. vg+

September 7, 2008 - Decanted. Vibrant nose of honey and peach. Full-on Marsanne, dominated by bitter-tonic, dry and quite mineral. vg-

July 29, 2008 - RJ nakedish offline (Rotisserie Jules, South Kensington, London): Mid-gold colour. Nose of caramel, and dusty, then an off-putting 'bicycle repair kit' nose that persists for some hours. Very silky palate. though lacks definition - rather blowsy. Not for me.

February 21, 2007 - Finally this wine showed what it was capable of! Double decanted and served about 90 minutes later. Much deeper colour than the viognier that preceded it. Lovely nose of honeysuckle and peaches. Perfectly balanced wine giving everything it had. A real pleasure.
