July 16, 2013 - Nose of cantaloupe, white peach, grapefruit and an interesting note of citrus pith. On the palate, the Riesling really shows by adding a touch of sweetness--I also get flavors of ripe peach and tea. I prefer the nose to the palate, as I'd like to see more of that citrusy acidity come through.
70% Sauvignon Blanc, 20% old vine Chenin Blanc, 10% Riesling. Purchased on sale at Whole Foods--not a bad value at ~$15.
