June 11, 2015 - Decanted for ca 1/2 hour. Vibrant nose of jammy cranberry and raspberry. Full bodied on the palate, quite smooth with gentle tannins, delivering surprisingly balanced fruit of cranberry and tart plums with firm acidic backbone and some heat on the finish. With more airtime it turned slightly more austere, perhaps from the oaky notes slowly emerging. Overall better than expected.

January 29, 2015 - Nice fruit and smooth, though this is a one-note melody, not a symphony, or even a jazz trio.
