October 14, 2020 - Threw a couple of ice cubes inside the glass, and it tasted like sangria.

April 26, 2020 - After a few hours open...
The nose was somewhat expressive offering dark red fruit, black pepper, nutmeg, and wet leaves. The additional 5 or 6 years of rest (compared to the previous bottles) helped quite a bit, but the pallet was still a little out of balance. Round texture with very fine tannins. There was depth and complexity on the mid, but the finish showed rather sweet. Good fruit, just a little late with the harvest?

February 12, 2020 - Earth and flowers, coffee and berriies, spiced plums on the nose. Sweet salty fruit on the palate, dry with a light density, and a warm spreading acid finish. My last bottle of this, one of my earliest purchases from the Garagiste, whom I have mostly moved beyond, but whom I remember fondly for getting me started on this journey. Lovely with some mushroom beef glop on toast, which I made from left overs before my latest business trip and was still in the fridge when I got back after a long journey home.

February 1, 2019 - Complex nose of green onion, jasmine, soy sauce, umami, bright floral aromatics, a hint of gaminess and stems, completely alive. Bright and lively on the palate with a clear acid base, gritty tannins at the back, a hint of volatile acid which not unpleasant, like a well flavored fruity vinegar. Mature and balanced. 50 + 17 + 17 + 8 = 92.

November 22, 2018 - From memory, spicy deep dark fruit on the nose, palate of dry focused fruit with bright acids.
