September 15, 2014 - Loved it. Aged to perfection. Singing like a bird in a calm sky. Velvet smooth, integrated tannins, nice medium finish. Lovely.

April 24, 2007 - Very dark, young plum in color. Big creamy vanilla oak grabs you first. Smooth and plush dark plum, blackberry, currant fruit....cake spice, dark green tobacco leaf, dusty cedar. Shows some tart plum skin, smoked meat, bramble. Wouldn't guess a Zin.....but quite nice non-the-less. Very much a Caymus style wine. Oak haters will repulse. I like it!
