October 12, 2023 - The 2010 Costa Russo had a polished mix of dark red and blackish fruits backed up by fine Nebbiolo tannins. It was a beautiful wine, but felt extremely composed and polished next to the 2010 Conterno Francia (I preferred the latter).

March 24, 2020 - This is a great wine, just way too young. Plenty of structure here for the long haul. Big rich sweet fruit, giving powerful tar and black fruits. Good now, will score much higher with another 5 years.
