January 13, 2017 - Delicious. A big, complex and full bodied gem. Deep ruby in the glass, aromatic nose of black fruits and spice, palate is ripe and concentrated, raspberry, plum and cherry, notes of earth, baking spice and a hint of dust, tannins are silky and acidity brings nice structure. Finish is long and leaves you wanting another sip. Very nice small production find. Why didn't we buy more?

December 27, 2015 - May have decanted too long. Seemed more flat than last time. Still, loaded with complex berry and other flavors, dusty, pairing well with tri-tip.

December 6, 2015 - Delicious. Dark Ruby in the glass, medium glass staining with robust quick forming tears, nose of spice, berries and earth, palate is alive with notes of dried concentrated fruits, raspberry, plum, cassis, note of pepper and baking spices. Finish is long and does not stop, alcohol is masked by the vibrant fruit character of this Paso gem. Extremely rare varietal for CA from a single vineyard.
