April 20, 2019 - Ripe and fragrant. Soy, tobacco leaf, liquorice.
Superb silky structure, has aged beautifully, cassis and raspberry, cedar, well balanced acid and tannin. Red berries and tobacco leaf. Soft but long and tasty. -

September 8, 2017 - 2007 Vintage Tasting (Bronte, Sydney): deep black/red with hint of brick at the edge.
clean, aged fruit, soft well integrated oak spice, not past it at all.
definitely has softened with time, but the flavours hanging in there, has a refined texture with a nice blend of red and black fruits, hint of earth, and a little leaf. impressive, ageing gracefully. tannins are mild, and acid quite ok. slippery, very tasty. -

December 18, 2005 - Christmas '05 in Australia; 12/8/2005-12/27/2005 (Melbourne, Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne and Gold Coast): Initial blackcurrant nose followed by a bit of cedar, plum and vanilla. Great complex palate. Probably the Wine of the Trip. Had faded two days later and was showing port nose and oxidisation. Would drink over the next 4 to 5 years.
