May 7, 2014 - Really ripe powerful nose, filled with blackcurrant and cedar. The plush, ripe glossy style continues on the palate. It’s quite well balanced with very fine tannins. Sweet blackcurrant fruit dominates the palate with a little graphite and creamy vanilla oak on the finish. There's a little tomato juice, green character that appears at times. It’s an intense and ripe style but well made and very enjoyable.
