August 21, 2013 - Clear and clean, with rich aromas and flavors of pear and melon, medium, pleasant finish. Paired with Tempura Shrimp, perfect. Simple, tasty and $4 at Trader Joes. Amazing QPR!

August 13, 2013 - (13.5%) Full for a Gruner this one shows loads of pears along with fleshy peach backed by decent acidity and some white pepper spice. Easy to drink but lacks the snap one might except from this varietal. That said, still quite a nice wine for the $4 I paid at Trader Joe’s (and better than their Hungarian offering). Stock up if you are looking for some late summer sippers.
