December 18, 2016 - Might have waited too long to open this wine. Seemed to be on its last legs. Needed a lot of help - aeration especially. Tasted much better as it warmed up in the glass. But no brightness, which is something we look for in a pinot. Tasted more fruity after about 2 hours in the glass. Might have been a 90 at some point, but not now.

July 23, 2016 - Dark cherry nose. Cola & cherry fusion emblematic of a carneros Pinot. Fruity finish, no fading or thinning at the end. A bit of smokey flavor gives it another level of dimensionality. Opened about 4 hours before drinking, decanted for 2 hours.
