January 24, 2023 - Robert Rolls Burgundy lunch 2023 (St John): Very nice wine. Relatively undemonstrative, but actually quite a lot there: thickish texture, nice balance of wood/reduction/fruit, refreshing and long. Felt completely ready - open 'em if you've got 'em!

December 23, 2021 - White Burgs and Rhone Varietals To Go With Burgers and Thursday Night Football (Los Olivos, CA): Taut and reductive upon being opened, but with air and as temps came up the wine rounded out and took on weight beautifully, with orchard fruit and floral notes along with a pleasing herbal element. Not the most complex, but highly enjoyable.

December 6, 2020 - This takes 30-45 minutes to open up, shed reduction and put on weight. Very nice orchard fruit with matchstick and mineral. Precise with village-level weight. Bright throughout.

November 24, 2019 - Light yellow with tinges of green. High acid, laser focused, and relatively tight...substantially more so than my last bottle. Doesn’t scream PYCM. Very good, not great.

June 10, 2019 - At Harbor House. Rich and round; hints at it’s more prestigious neighbor, but less complex. Doesn’t feel like it will make old bones.
