September 6, 2014 - - Brick color - Chocolate and plums, soft finish, inky purple on the eyes and easy on the palate. One dimensional, perhaps a little jammy, but enjoyable all the same.

July 5, 2014 - Big chocolate and plum spice, black pepper and dominant oak nose with a dash of spice. Lingering finish with slightly chalky tannins.

June 8, 2014 - Decanter, started drinking after 30mins over 3 hours. A young, immature wine, no doubt. An obvious young plum purple, with typical young rough tannic senses on nose and palate. That aside, for a cheap quaffer a surprisingly vibrant berry fruit nose despite the young attempts of masking. Signs ahead of a good balance, it should settle, slight mouth coating and a medium finish.
Always a bit wary of these exclusive to Dan Murphy labels, feel Dan's review is based on price point and value for money rather than overall quality of wine. I will however say that I will probably pick up another 6 or so to lay down as these will be remarkable easy drinking quaffers in say 5 years time. Great value for price point, can't deny.1 person found this helpful Comment -

April 20, 2014 - Opened the bottle to dark berry & oak notes, some spice. Deep purple colours. First sip after 10 impatient mins, delicious.Soft of the palate, oak n dark chocolate too. Decanted for another 30 mins and started drinking. Wonderful, soft alcohol, chocolate, berry flavour like velvet over the sides of the tongue to a medium finish that go further after a few years. Get involved. 93+

August 22, 2013 - - Brick color - Beautiful dark intensity with sumptuous berry and chocolate notes. The tannins silky smooth and rich with flawless oak interaction and just a touch of acid to bring the palate to life on the finish. This wine will go the distance and although drinking well now, needs to be had within 5 years.
