  January 20, 2018 - Rich ruby red strong legs leave a purple hue on the glass. Nose reminds me of a bakery blueberry pie. And a candy store. On the palate not as sweet as the nose actually quite a nice balance of acid tannins and fruit. Hints of blackberry burnt sugar leather and tobacco. But nothing over the top. Had with pork chops pan seared and baked beets. Nice wine only had one as it was a gift and it was good

  October 1, 2014 - Bought 15 of these on recommendation -- 1st bottle last night and I must say I enjoyed it. Wine is a little young so I'll let a few bottles age a few years but definitely good for value for the money.

  August 17, 2014 - Pretty good. A little out of balance. Both syrupy and a bit tannic. A funny metalic flavor. But even after all that, the flavor is good.
