May 7, 2019 - Very tasty. No decant. Bright red cherry. Light edge. Acidity, legs., decent depth of fruit. Nice Cote de Beaune; well made. Tannins resolved. Time to drink!

April 29, 2019 - Fine Vines Warehouse Tasting (Fine Vines - Melrose Park IL): Walk around tasting, brief note. Red fruit, anise and dried herbs. Slightly bitter finish, but otherwise very easy and enjoyable.

January 30, 2019 - too young to open
but not sure it's gonna get any better

    February 11, 2018 - nice qpr
some cherries that may evolve to a more lengthy expression in the next year or two

November 23, 2017 - Light ruby, transparent, and surprisingly, still without a cloak. Abundant bright red fruit on the nose with dominant raspberries and some strawberries lead to a light, highly acidic mid-palate that is rather short-lived, with subtle, fine tannins and an abbreviated finish. No wood that I can taste in here, as expected. Overall, rather unidimensional and lacking in the structure and and complexity that is expected of a red burgundy at this price point.

Disclaimer: The above tasting notes may have been adversely influenced by the wonderful mouthfeel of the Nerello Mascalese from Mount Aetna (2012 Passopisciaro Contrada Rampante) that I was sipping alongside this wine.
