August 17, 2015 - California meets the Rhine. Very rich and buttery for a resiling. Very good though doesn't have that minerality I like in a reisling. But it does have that beautiful fruit.

August 29, 2013 - Flight 8, Niederösterreich II, Wine 8 (non-blind): Demeter-certified. The wine was light to medium lemon in colour and offered an expressive nose of peach, apricot, apple, apricot pie, damson pie, orange bitter and mineral notes. On the palate the wine showed apricot, some red apple and a nice herbal spiciness, paired with medium-plus smooth acidity. The medium-bodied Riesling was well-balanced and had a slightly creamy mouthfeel. It would be interesting to follow the wine’s evolution over the next years as the wine seems to have the stuffing to merit a much higher score a few years down the road. 88 for now.
