  November 16, 2020 - Muted nose with a touch of licorice. Garnet color. Medium body. Flavors of cassis, dark cherry, licorice, and sage. The tannins and acidity are mild. The wine upon opening has an astringency to it, but after an hour things really open up and continue to do so. This is not a prodigious wine, but it hits a lot of notes for enjoyable drinking, especially with food. Ready to drink now and for the next 5 years. Excellent value. Decant for sediment.

  November 24, 2019 - Medium red color, but with variations in nose and taste among 4 bottles opened. All acquired at same time and stored together so hard to know what to say. Two of four bottles with much more sediment than others. Worth decanting, better after an hour. Muted cherries, earth.

  September 15, 2017 - This gets alive after a couple of hours. And then ... yehaaaa. Vibrant tannins, strawberries, sexy juice. As before this is fantastic but absolutely needs time and air as also recommend on the label.
