December 28, 2005 - Eating and drinking my way through San Francisco; 12/26/2005-12/30/2005 (San Francisco, CA): Really beautiful color and clarity. A pretty nose of Vosne oak-spiced stawberrys. Round and silky on the palate, and still with a restrained tannic note while just starting to show a bit of polish on the finish. Great weight for a wine of this level and vintage, and frankly, not far off 1er or GC depth. Some soy and potpourri. Held well though a 3 hour lunch.
