December 30, 2023 - Belluard Le Feu 2012 has a dark golden hue, almost amber in appearance, reveling some very oxidative notes, difficult to pin note, but once it opens and get the right temperature slightly chilled instead of cold, it blossoms into your glass with concentrated honey, baked apple with caramel, cider-ish. Note a huge fan of the bouquet.

Much more readable and appealing on the palate with some acacia flowers, ripe pears and acacia honey flavours. The wine is precise and well balanced with a nice tension followed by a honey texture covering your palate which linger.

After 30s the tension combined with the oxidation makes you mouthwatering and call you back to your glass for another sip!

June 28, 2020 - Acidity still going, but a bit thin and shapeless. There a still hints of citrus, peach and herbs but nothing clearly delineated. Maybe over the hill?

May 29, 2020 - Agree with my last TN, but paired this time with a lime-cilantro beurre blanc over fish that was a great pairing. Really enjoyed. Still could use a bit more acidity.

March 29, 2020 - A good bottle. Plenty of bright acidity, tension, and texture, just a hint of apple cider. This was delicious, but age did it no favors; should have opened it years ago.

January 9, 2019 - My first bottle of this was brilliant. This was pretty much shot. Orange-ish color, burnt carmel nose. Pretty much undrinkable.
