July 11, 2014 - ¤FW - In my opinion this is the archetypical modern wine. Really well made but lacking character. Big nose of dark fruit. Plenty of roasted oak with coffee and chocolate. There's a slight vanilla, coconut and dill that gives away the country. This is extremely well balanced on the palate. Medium acidity, medium body, with just enough tannins and long, well composed finish.
Undoubtedly a great wine, and very tasty. But tonight, in a tasting together with a bunch wines with lots of character and different styles this loses out a lot. -

April 4, 2014 - Very fruity nose, with blackcurrant, toasted note, and sweet raisin like nose. Focused, medium bodied palate, fruity but high toned acidity. Long finish. Feels very young, but drinkable.
