March 1, 2023 - Consumed over 3 nights. Very N. Rhone style, with red fruits of a candied sweetness, but not jammy. Touches of spice, Oak, menthol. Good food acidity. A nice complex wine that probably showed best a few years ago.

January 18, 2016 - Beautiful deep, dark ruby color. Fresh on the nose w/ dark & black fruit, licorice, cherry & baking spice. On the palate it is multi-layered with dark chocolate, dark fruit, dried cherry and some spice. The finish is currant, dark chocolate and spice. This is a delicious Syrah that balances the technical & structural capability of the grape with the powerful fruit it holds.
