    March 27, 2024 - Lovely fully mature barolo. Has enough fruit to remain fresh. Drink now-3yrs I think to get the best balance of maturity, fruit and fresness

    December 29, 2023 - Ruby, some browning. Fine aromatic nose. Fairly full and rich, black cherry, plum, liquorice and a little tar. Decent acidity. Dry tannins at the finish, which isn't that long. Enjoyable enough but either in a phase or tiring early.

    June 25, 2022 - Light to mid garnet-brown, the bouquet is savoury but with crushed rose petal, marinated red cherries, gunpowder, liquorice, pencil led and a fragrance throughout - most compelling!
    Medium bodied the entry is dried rose petals and strawberry both lifted with a hint of musk sweets, heady and alluring. A fine, elegant Barolo this feels open and accessible with firm but pliant tannins that are complemented by tar, aniseed, fennel and a leather desk element that seems to add a sweetness to the mid-palate. An engaging wine that is polished and shiny and with a long, persistent finish.
