January 1, 2010 - This bottle showed better than the previous. Initially some funk and gunpowder. After a while in the glass it opened up nicely.
Light ruby colour with some bricking at the rim. Ripe aromas of plum, blueberry and sage with some wet earth and hay. Following trough medium bodied with silky tannins and ripe fruit. Long finish that remains fresh throughout.
Drinking excellent right now, this bottle definitely isn't past its peak. -
