September 24, 2013 - The Elk Cove Vineyards is just a short distance from Beaverton and is worth a visit if you are up that way. This Pinot might best be described as a cuvée. The color is a light ruby and is translucent with a nose of soft raspberry, citrus, and a slight mint. The palate shows a medium bodied Pinot with a delicious fruit leading to an acidic and tannic finish. A really wonderful Oregon Pinot that should go for about 5 years in your cellar.
