August 30, 2017 - Black and blue fruits are prominent, along with cloves, liquorice and earthy notes. The fruit is powerful, but thankfully not over sweet. It doesn't feel quite balanced right now, the tannins and fruit are a bit discordant. This could be an odd bottle but I would give the wine a couple more years to sort itself out.
