February 14, 2022 - Filtered and decanted about a half hour. Still showing good fruit and body. Aging well.

November 6, 2016 - Took a few hours to blow off a funky aftertaste. I didn't put in to a decanter, I just left in the bottle with the cork off.

After a breathing the wine features aromas of leather and smoke. The color is starting to change into a dark red/orange and features a noticeably wide meniscus. You can tell it has some age.

Initially it had a long finish of questionable tastes that jived with the funk i noticed on P&P. Once that cleared out, it had good acid and weakening tannin but not a lot of fruity pop.

Overall a good, aged wine. I think i'll try to consume the other bottles soon as it feels that it's slowly going to start aging out.
