April 28, 2024 - Weil produced at least three different KG TBA in 2003. This is more than just an amazing wine, it is perhaps unique in my experience, notwithstanding having tasted many of the most renowned TBAs from Thanisch's legendary 1921 Berncasteler Doctor on. No words to describe the complexity, intensity, and constant changing in the mouth. The only TBA to my experience at the same level, and it is very different, is the 1949 J.J. Prüm Wehlener/Zeltinger Sonnenuhr. A once-in-a-lifetime experience. Cellared since original release.
