November 27, 2023 - Rather dark in colour, nose of earthy, leathery fruits, rich and dense on the palate!

August 11, 2022 - This bottle was definitely better than the last one that I drank
    Nose of olives
    very thin on the palate

February 9, 2021 - 2001 20-years on Commanderie dinner. Lovely, classic Medoc nose with dark fruit and underbrush, nice and complex. The palate is elegant but cannot fully follow-up as it is noticeably thin on the mid palate.

May 7, 2020 - Same notes as before, but the wine was a bit better. Maybe a bit more depth, not as thin tasting. But still some fruit … cassis, and berries. Acidity waning a bit so the fruit comes across as a touch flatter/fatter.

February 22, 2020 - Good colour, some sediment. Shy on the nose but still get some red berry fruits, cassis, earthiness, and smooth silky tannins . Nothing is overt, everything in balance. I just wish there was more body to the mid palate to finish …. seems a bit thinner now. But still smooth and easy going.
