November 13, 2023 - I enjoyed this bottle, undecanted, over three hours, with tacos, beans and rice. Black fruit, spice, herbs, pepper. Balanced, tertiary notes, interesting. In a good spot right now. Will likely hold for a few years. The complexity makes this wine interesting. Decent value for the money. However, I don't know that many people are going to pay this kind of money for essentially a Cote du Rhone / villages, even if it's a good one. Price notwithstanding, it's a very nice blend of Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Cinsault. Will pair nicely with Mexican, steak, spicy Indian, barbecue.

December 4, 2020 - Ripe black fruit with sweet spice. Good weight, very good balance, drinking so well now. Great value wine at the discounted Garagiste price.

October 24, 2020 - This wine is in its primary drinking window, if tasting like it’s near the end. Dark fruit, spices, a little fresh tarragon. There is plenty of acid to play off the integrated tannins, the fruit is just starting to lose its primacy. Stellar value wine that has held its own for 9 years.
Drink over this year or roll the dice.

September 20, 2020 - Lots of sediment, re-iterating need for standing for 24 hours

Ripe red fruit, youthful acidity, tannins easing into spice

December 2, 2019 - Ripe black fruit to start with slightly sweet spice. Good depth and weight with a faintly tannic finish. Good now. Slightly better on night 2.
