February 8, 2019 - CNY Lo Hei at Alex's (Alex and Fiona's in AMK): Neither as good nor as interesting as the 2010, but this was decent enough. The nose was far more advanced, with bits of leather, earth and deeper, darker plum and black cherry fruit aromas. The palate felt altogether flatter and less fresh, with a rash of velvety tannins and barely there acidity wrapped around a core of cassis and blueberry fruit. Simple, easy and pleasant to drink, but just a bit flat and unconvincing on the finish. An easy, early drinking wine, but pleasant rather than great.

August 14, 2016 - This has really come along in the last year - now it has that dusty dry soil kind of palate with very transparent fruit that allows the terroir to really express itself. Light, refined and elegant. Very impressive.

April 4, 2015 - What was I thinking? Way too young but after two hours the terroir starts to peek out. Minerals and lean fruit with some dusty cherries. Needs another 5 years.
